BBQ, Brains, and Chick-Filatio Triumph: A Trivia Night Recap

The Hog and Tradition was buzzing with excitement last night as trivia enthusiasts gathered for a battle of wits. The competition was fierce, with the cleverly named Chick-Filatio taking the crown as the winning team. Not far behind were The Linguists, who proved they were no slouches when it came to trivia knowledge. The crowd was filled with BBQ lovers enjoying delicious treats like the brisket grilled cheese, a definite highlight of the night. Hosted by the ever-entertaining Andy, the atmosphere was electric with the sound of brains buzzing as teams racked their minds for the correct answers. It was a night filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of brainpower. Congratulations to Chick-Filatio on their well-deserved victory and to everyone who participated in making it a memorable evening of fun and camaraderie!

We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy".
