Farewell to Hudl Brewing Company as we enjoy our final trivia night amongst friends. We had the largest turnout ever as we welcomed 22 teams and nearly 100 patrons for the last trivia night. Team "So Long....& Goodnight" supported this trivia host's emo night shirt with an ode to My Chemical Romance, but also came away with our second to last place prize of a four pack of beer. Team "Went to NFR and All I Got Was Horse Herpes" won the best team name and finished within the top ten. Special shoutout to teams "Tumbleweeds", "Space Monkey Mafia", "A Bitch Named Karma", "Sin City Kings", "Quiz On My Face", "Sex, Drugs, and Lobstah Rolls", "Mermaiders", and Woof!" as well as all of our teams that showed up last night as many of them have been repeat patrons and have made all of Robot Brain Trivia's hosts feel welcome. On a night when many of us had to choose between Thursday night football and trivia night at Sean Patrick's pub, our trivia patrons were entertained with both. Our six teams came out strong with only a six point differential from first place to last place, but when it was all said and done two teams ended up tied for last. These two teams (Let's Get Quizzical and On Cloud Wine) had to battle with a tiebreaker question and coincidentally enough, gave the exact same number; however according to international trivia hosting regulations, the team that delivered their answer first won the coveted second to last place prize of $10 to the restaurant. Team "On Cloud Wine" narrowly won this foot race by dashing towards this scared trivia host. Welcome back to another trivia installment at Hudl Brewing Company, home to many wonderful trivia nights over the years. We're deeply saddened to hear of their closing but glad to have so many trivia patrons bid them a fond farewell two weeks of trivia. On a chilly night filled with cake and laughter team "Abby Would Know" demolished the competition and even confidently brought up their answer sheet during our Circuit Breaker round early. Teams "Tumbleweeds", "Farewell Fellows" and "Hudl Up" all were tied in second place going into our final round but it was "Tumbleweeds" that tip toed the unforgiving Circuit Breaker round and avoided missing a question there to pull away. Unfortunately for them, team "The Team That Wrote the Entire Script of the Bee Movie As Their Team Name" sneaked by with a single point to take second place. Tonight at the Spot, Seven teams competed for trivia greatness. After the fifth round two rival teams were tied for first place going into the final round. Everyone had a good time and I was particularly impressed with the Fish and Chips and Chicken tender plates that I saw the contestants eating. This is definitely a great place with awesome food dishes.  

Today at the Beach House we had of 50 players playing. It was a close game all through the first half but then two teams aced the music round and zoomed ahead into the lead. At the end of the night the team 'Go Shuck Yourself" ended in 2nd to last place and earned a free pitcher coupon. The teams "Kill them All" and "Auto-Pen Name" took the winning spots at the end of the game with a one point difference.  The Song Margaritaville was everyone's favorite song of the night!
