A Wild Wednesday at Lucino's





Teams filled the room and filled up on some fantastic food all while waiting to hear what the surprise 1st place prize would be, what could be better than last weeks Golden Knights tickets?
Effin Tetrahedron came out strong with a perfect 1st round setting a strong base for challenge, so Chick-Fil-atio said "my pleasure" with a perfect 3rd and 5th round. Pony with Stromboli answered 8/10 in the final round but that was only enough for a 3rd place finish…as Effin Tetrahedron stood strong & scored 2 tickets to the UNLV football game on November 30th! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy".
