Good Thing We're In A Sports Bar

Our usual Wednesday trivia night at Wing Nutz had the benefit of a sports round in an actual sports bar, helping with questions by looking up at screens. Even though our teams tonight had help, the other 5 rounds grilled teams as we held our collective breath during the Golden Knights game. Team "Jones BBQ and Foot Massage" came back in and swept the competition with a staggering 12 point lead over the second placed team, though team "A.I.R." did put up a valiant effort. Team Austin and Sophia were our rookies tonight but brought the spirit award with cheers and applause during the evening. Welcome to our Wednesday trivia night installment at HUDL Brewery with a substitute host! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy".
