Rage Against the Oligarchy Takes the Crown at Sticks Tavern Trivia Night

The energy was electric at Sticks Tavern last night as trivia enthusiasts gathered to test their knowledge and wit. Hosted by the dynamic duo, Angie & Andy, the competition was fierce but friendly, with teams like Rage Against the Oligarchy and Non Artificial Intelligence going head to head. In the end, it was Rage Against the Oligarchy who emerged victorious, taking home the top prize and bragging rights for the evening. But the real winners of the night were undoubtedly Dickson Cider, who claimed the title of Funniest Team with their clever name. Laughter filled the air as they accepted their prize, adding to the already lively vibe of the event. And let's not forget about the delicious food and drink offerings - chicken tostadas and crispy pork & shrimp rolls for just $10 - ensuring that everyone was well-fed and ready to tackle the trivia questions. It was a night filled with fun, camaraderie, and of course, a healthy dose of friendly competition.

We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy".
