The Fellowship of State Capitols...The Trilogy

Another installment of our Wednesday trivia night at Wingnutz, another new champion crowned. Our night started off tame with fewer teams than normal but still a heated battle between new teams "LMTA" and "Deez Nuts" (a popular team name at Wingnutz). Team "MartSquad" came in one round late but still brought the team spirit as they fought for the coveted second to last place prize of a free pitcher of beer. This trivia host is pretty sure only two of their team members are legally allowed to participate in this prize though. Our surprise dark horse team "DevJam" roared back with our state capitol round, scoring a perfect 10/10 in that round to pull out a come from behind victory of $50 to the restaurant. Welcome to our Wednesday trivia night installment at HUDL Brewery with a substitute host! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy".
