March Madness at Sean Patrick's: Trivia Night Recap

What a night at Sean Patrick's on North 5th & Deer Springs for this week's trivia night! The energy was electric as teams battled it out for the top spot. Congratulations to 3 Sheets for taking home the win, with Hoof Hearted not far behind as the runner-up and funniest team of the night. The competition was fierce, but the laughs were plenty with all the teams in high spirits. As always, Rich 'The Kilted Quizzer' Behrens kept the night moving smoothly with his signature blend of humor and trivia talent. And let's not forget about the prizes - gift cards for the winners and even the second to last team! Plus, everyone got a sneak peek at the all new March menu. Want to join in on the fun? Welcome to our Wednesday trivia night installment at HUDL Brewery with a substitute host! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy". If you want to get in on the trivia fun and battle for a chance at free beer and chicken wings then come down to Wing Nutz off of Decatur in Aliante next week at 7pm sharp!

A Winning Team Named Kathy

Welcome back to our next installment of Wednesday trivia nights at Wing Nutz! Our winners this evening decided to start drinking before the game began as opposed to during. They triumphed round after round and didn't use their usual joke answer of "A blank named Kathy" until the penultimate category, a challenging one asking for authors of famous films. They even surprisingly were the sole team to score a point in the final dreaded Circuit Breaker round where a single wrong answer wipes out your entire answer sheet. Plenty of teams mistakenly thought Kenya bordered the Atlantic Ocean or thought carbohydrates always contain nitrogen. A big congratulations to team "Groovy Swingers" as they took home the gold cup in this challenging evening of trivia. New team "Denver" brought the team spirit and nearly took over the whole bar but fell to third place with the difficult author and film round.
