Nobody Puts This Trivia Host in The Corner

Welcome back to another Wednesday night trivia extravaganza here at Voodoo Brewing Company! Our five teams tonight started off excited when they realized there would be rounds about movie quotes, 90's music, and bearded celebs but their hopes were quickly dashed when they realized we're not going easy on them. In the end, each team fought tooth and nail until a brutal circuit breaker round vanquished many of them. Luckily for team "Cat Parents Night Out" they doubled down on their confident answer of Boggle on the final question of the evening to squeak out a 2 point win over "Tumbleweeds" for first place. Speaking of "Tumbleweeds", they returned from their three week hiatus and made rookie mistakes all evening. From turning in their pencil two rounds early to attempting to bribe this trivia host with pizza. New team "Fighting Mongooses" came up short this evening but still won our illustrious "Dum Dum" prize where the last place team receives Dum Dum lollipops. Welcome to our Wednesday trivia night installment at HUDL Brewery with a substitute host! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy". If you want to get in on the trivia fun and battle for a chance at free beer and chicken wings then come down to Wing Nutz off of Decatur in Aliante next week at 7pm sharp!

A Winning Team Named Kathy

Welcome back to our next installment of Wednesday trivia nights at Wing Nutz! Our winners this evening decided to start drinking before the game began as opposed to during. They triumphed round after round and didn't use their usual joke answer of "A blank named Kathy" until the penultimate category, a challenging one asking for authors of famous films. They even surprisingly were the sole team to score a point in the final dreaded Circuit Breaker round where a single wrong answer wipes out your entire answer sheet. Plenty of teams mistakenly thought Kenya bordered the Atlantic Ocean or thought carbohydrates always contain nitrogen. A big congratulations to team "Groovy Swingers" as they took home the gold cup in this challenging evening of trivia.
