Farewell to Lucy at Little Avalon!

What a night at Little Avalon for our last trivia night hosted by the one and only Lucy! The energy was electric as teams competed for the top spot. In the end, it was 'So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye' who clinched the victory, leaving 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' in a close second place. The atmosphere was bittersweet as we bid adieu to Lucy, but also filled with gratitude for the memories shared and the love and support received. The prizes of a $50 gift card for the winners and a $25 gift card for the runner-up made the competition even more intense. To top it off, the coastal cafe offerings and decadent drinks provided the perfect fuel for an epic night of trivia. Can't for the next host at Little Avalon! Welcome to our Wednesday trivia night installment at HUDL Brewery with a substitute host! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. Welcome back to another Wednesday Trivia Night installment here at Wing Nutz! Rookie teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Smiths" both came away with prizes but it was returning team "Wing Some, Lose Some" that won the best team name award and our silver place prize of a $25 gift card to the restaurant. Team "Groovy Swingers" came away with a free pitcher of beer but also brought comic relief with answers ranging from "taking a wing break" to "that b*tch named Kathy". If you want to get in on the trivia fun and battle for a chance at free beer and chicken wings then come down to Wing Nutz off of Decatur in Aliante next week at 7pm sharp!

A Winning Team Named Kathy

Welcome back to our next installment of Wednesday trivia nights at Wing Nutz! Our winners this evening decided to start drinking before the game began as opposed to during. They triumphed round after round and didn't use their usual joke answer of "A blank named Kathy" until the penultimate category, a challenging one asking for authors of famous films. They even surprisingly were the sole team to score a point in the final dreaded Circuit Breaker round where a single wrong answer wipes out your entire answer sheet. Plenty of teams mistakenly thought Kenya bordered the Atlantic Ocean or thought carbohydrates always contain nitrogen. A big congratulations to team "Groovy Swingers" as they took home the gold cup in this challenging evening of trivia. New team "Denver" brought the team spirit and nearly took over the whole bar but fell to third place with the difficult author and film round.
