New Teams, New Rules, and a pack of Wild Cougars

Welcome back to another fun filled trivia night here at The Beach House where our eleven teams of the evening came ready to battle for coveted free food and drinks. Teams Wild Cougars, Beach Beauties, and Maui Bitches had to split up due to our new team rules of five players maximum per team but it was the Maui Bitches that came out on top in their friendly three way battle. Team Goodbye Dolly made a heartfelt homage to the beloved Dolly Parton, rest in peace, and did her proud as they came away with the night's top prize of 50% off their total bill. Team Beach Beauties unfortunately did so poorly throughout the evening that they walked away with our dum dum prize of the evening. Our trivia night included questions ranging from fictional places to words that end in "rum" but the topic that stumped most teams was "words that are commonly mispronounced" even though most teams won the most points in that category. Welcome to our Wednesday trivia night installment at HUDL Brewery with a substitute host! We had a large crowd tonight with 13 teams and 50 people total battling for our coveted prizes; however it was team "Space Monkey Mafia" that took home the gold prize of three $15 gift cards to the brewery as they scored no less than 8 points in each round! Team "The See You Next Tuesdays" came in a close second place but fell behind by one single point. Teams "Code Brown" and "Brits Abroad" battled for our second to last place prize but it came down to a nerve wracking tie breaker question about Taylor Swift's debut album, questioning how many seconds was the entire length of the album. A Winning Team Named Kathy

Welcome back to our next installment of Wednesday trivia nights at Wing Nutz! Our winners this evening decided to start drinking before the game began as opposed to during. They triumphed round after round and didn't use their usual joke answer of "A blank named Kathy" until the penultimate category, a challenging one asking for authors of famous films. They even surprisingly were the sole team to score a point in the final dreaded Circuit Breaker round where a single wrong answer wipes out your entire answer sheet. Plenty of teams mistakenly thought Kenya bordered the Atlantic Ocean or thought carbohydrates always contain nitrogen. A big congratulations to team "Groovy Swingers" as they took home the gold cup in this challenging evening of trivia. New team "Denver" brought the team spirit and nearly took over the whole bar but fell to third place with the difficult author and film round. If You Don't Get 1st, at Least Get 2nd to Last

Welcome back to our Wednesday trivia night extravaganza at Wing Nutz! Our returning teams "Groovy Swingers" and "The Schwingers" have learned in recent weeks to switch between 1st and 2nd to last place to parlay their free pitchers of beer for $50 gift cards to the restaurant. This trivia host is baffled but sure the liquid courage is helping these teams throw down debated on answers. Team "Just the Two of Us" returned after a long hiatus to proudly claim a second place prize of $25 to the restaurant but it was team "Zombie Appetizers" that won the best team name of the evening. Numerous teams were brought down by our dreaded Circuit Breaker round as usual when they mistakenly thought Noah released a dove first, but instead it was a raven. If you want to get in on the trivia fun then be sure to show up to Wing Nutz off of Decatur and 215 next Wednesday at 7pm sharp!
